1. Showcasing a battery circular economy

The agenda for the 2024 Australian Battery Recycling and Manufacturing Summit is now launched. It spotlights Australia’s opportunities to lead technology developments in the battery circular economy and furthers the discussion on fast-tracking growth of this critical clean tech industry.

The program explores investment, innovation and best practice in Australia’s battery recycling and manufacturing industry.

ABRI is excited to announce one of the keynote speakers is an international expert at the centre of the energy transition - Dr. Christian Baur of P3 Consulting, Europe. Dr Baur will talk to what’s happening on the ground in Europe and lessons for Australia. He is a next-generation battery technology expert with a genuine curiosity for new challenging opportunities and business development. His vision: Bringing more Science into Business.

He has extensive experience in market, technology- & cost analysis for the Li-Ion battery value chain from raw materials to battery recycling. This includes preparing life cycle assessment, product carbon footprint analysis and next-gen battery technology evaluations.
