IM Group specialises in the 3Rs of automotive mechatronics (Recycling, Remanufacturing, Reducing) and the integration of mechanical and electronic systems for the automotive aftermarket. IM Group is expanding its expertise into electric vehicle battery reuse and remanufacturing. Current battery types that IM Group is recycling are:

• • Hybrid Vehicle traction battery – NiMH or Lithium Ion
  • Electric Vehicle (BEV/PHEV) traction battery – Lithium-ion

Other chemistry types will be explored as new traction battery types are in production for major OEMs.
