ABRI AGM – 3 March 2022
NOTICE OF MEETING
The ABRI AGM will be held online on Thursday 3 March commencing at 1pm (Sydney).
As much as the ABRI Executive Committee would have liked to meet with you face-to-face, in the current climate the AGM will be online only, short and focus on updating you on ABRI business and financial activities for 2021. Other events will be organised over 2022 to focus on recycling industry topics of interest and look to bring members together for networking opportunities. If there are matters you would like to raise at the ABM, please reach out to me so that I can put them on the agenda and/or see that your queries are answered.
INVITATION TO NOMINATE FOR ABRI EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE – DUE MONDAY 7 FEBRUARY 2022
This is also the time for members to appoint the Executive Committee. The positions of President, Vice President and Treasurer are not scheduled for election as the they were appointed in 2021 for two year terms.
The Executive Committee plays a key role in setting strategy and ensuring our work is professionally and technically on target. It is the input and expertise of our members that makes us a strong industry voice. An important consideration in your decision to nominate is your availability to attend Executive Committee meetings and General Meetings as well as taking action in support ABRIs vision and work plan. Enclosed in the nomination form is the EXCO Roles and Responsibilities as well as an extract from the ABRI Rules.
