Export permit applications
Beverich Holdings International Pty Ltd, trading as Reverse E-waste has received approval to export up to 1000 tonnes of waste lithium ion, nickel cadmium and nickel metal hydride batteries (2 June 2015). The batteries will be transported from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth to Kobar Limited in the Republic of Korea.
Recent applications to export used batteries for recycling include:
– Powercell (Australia) Trading Pty Ltd to export up to 100 tonnes of waste nickel cadmium, nickel metal hydride and lithium ion batteries to Nippon Recycle Center Corp in Osaka, Japan(15 May 2015)
– 3R Solutions Pty Ltd to export up to 2,400 tonnes of used lead acid batteries from Melbourne to SEGI Recycling Technology in the Republic of Korea (29 May 2015)
– Dodd & Dodd Group to export up to 150 tonnes of waste nickel cadmium batteries to Kobar Limited in the Republic of Korea (1 June 2015)
