3. Indonesia - battery recycling investment & partnership opportunities
Many ABRI members have strong connections with Indonesia. For those ABRI members looking for support to invest in Indonesia and/or local partners, the Indonesia Investment Promotion Centre (IIPC) can facilitate connections with the Indonesian Government and local partners. This could include partners for the Quad Clean Energy Supply Diversification Program . For further information, please reach out to:

4. Looking for support to solve an accounting problem?
Monash University runs a final year Masters program (July to November 2025) where students work with industry partners to solve real-world accounting projects such as:
Business Impact from Changing Accounting Standards or Regulations
Scoping or Implementation of Mandatory Carbon Reporting in your Business
Piloting or Implementing AI to Streamline elements of your Accounting (e.g., bookkeeping, reporting or costing) Process
Interested ABRI members can find further information on how to develop proposals (due early 2025) and the operation of the scheme here.
ABRI is considering a proposal to ask the students to develop a streamlined framework for collecting data/information so that recyclers can support OEM requirements for:
mandatory carbon reporting
developing evidence to underpin environmental and sustainability claims including recycled content in products and commitments that product management processes are circular. This would be in line with the ACCC Environmental and Sustainable Claims guidance.
