2. ABRI Rebranding
As you may have noticed the ABRI Member Bulletin format has been revamped. This is part of a broader ABRI communications project to strengthen the industry's profile. The ABRI website has also been updated to make it easier for site visitors to find commercial battery recyclers, members and guidelines.
Please check your member information to ensure it is up to date so that visitors to the ABRI website can find the information they need when looking for a commercial battery recycler.
A formal launch will take place in coming weeks.
3. BSC battery recycling board vacancy – support BSC as it builds a battery circular economy
The Battery Stewardship Council (BSC) is inviting nominations for the role of Board Director: Recycling Industry. This role is responsible for driving the BSC's strategy and governance. To be eligible for the position, applicants are required to be a financial member of BSC and be a B-cycle accredited Collector / Recycler. This role is one of two roles for the battery recycling industry.

21 Feb – online (3-4pm AEDT) Export Council of Australia web based roundtable to explore ABRI member needs on ways to promote the Australian battery recycling industry to investment partners in the Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Opportunities include the establishment of a consortium for research and commercialisation, and direct investment into individual Australian businesses. Registration
