Support the Australian Battery Industry – safely drop off your batteries at B-cycle

9 August 2023 – Help prevent battery fires and support local industry by dropping off your loose consumer batteries at dedicated B-cycle Drop off points and taking your e-waste, such as phones, laptops and e-bikes, to a dedicated e-waste facility.

Batteries are recyclable and Australian battery recyclers are turning them into feedstock for new batteries and other products, such as zinc, green cement and fertiliser.

Association for the Battery Recycling Industry CEO, Katharine Hole said, “By dropping off your used batteries at B-cycle sites you are supporting local industry build recycling capacity.”
